Time only about you.
Supportive conversation means meeting regularly with a qualified professional. You do not have to be in crisis, and you do not have to know what you want from it. It is enough that there is something you cannot carry alone.
How can we help?
Self-knowledge
Who am I, what do I want, what drives me and what stops me. We walk with you as you make sense of your own story.
Questions of faith
Doubt, silence, searching within faith. A space where none of this is off limits.
Grief and loss
Loss, saying goodbye, the daily weight of absence. We never rush you, and we stay with you throughout.
Relationships and couples
Recurring conflicts, conversations that go wrong, lost trust in the relationships that matter most.
Everyday difficulties
Decisions, overloaded days, feeling stuck at work or at home. We sort out the order together.
Support for families of people with addiction
If you live alongside someone whose addiction is taking over their life, support is yours too.
Supportive conversations
A supportive conversation is not an interview and not an examination. It is time when someone is with you with full attention: asking when it helps, listening when that is what you need.
Most people come because something has been weighing on them for a long time, and there is no one around them to turn to with it. Feeling stuck, a relationship that does not work, grief, or an exhaustion that has no name.
We offer an initial series of 5 to 10 sessions. You set the pace and duration of the process. For some, three sessions are enough to gain a fresh perspective on their situation; for others, having weekly or biweekly sessions with a professional provides valuable support over several months.
It's not therapy
We do not diagnose or treat illness. If that is what you need, we say so and help you take the next step.
It's not giving advice
We do not tell you what to do. We help you see your own decisions more clearly.
It's not preaching
Faith can come up if you bring it. We do not want to convince anyone of anything.
Do you need help right now?
EgyüttÉrzés is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, or you feel that you might harm yourself or someone else, please seek immediate help.
If the Association becomes aware of an immediate threat to the life or physical safety of a client or another person, it is entitled and obliged to take the necessary steps, including applying the statutory exception to its duty of confidentiality and notifying the competent authorities and services.
From the first contact to the last conversation.
Getting in touch
You can apply on our website, or write us a few lines about what brought you here. No need to phrase it well, and no diagnosis needed.
First conversation
Fifty minutes when you get to know each other with your helper. Then you decide together whether to continue.
Regular meetings
Typically every two weeks, with the same helper. We offer a series of 10 sessions. You decide how long yours lasts.
Help to find alternative support
If it becomes clear that therapy or medical help is needed which is beyond the scope of our work, we do not leave you alone: we help you find it.
You do not need to prepare.
You do not have to put your problem into words, and you do not have to look strong. The conversation is about as much as you want to say.
I need help
What most people ask.
You do not need to know where to start.
Write a few lines if you are looking for help, or if you would join us as a professional. We are also happy to answer your questions.
